We are from silk village – Sualkuchi, just about 35 km from the capital city of Assam. Weaving is our family tradition.

Marvella formed in the year 2019 committed to uplift indigenous weaving and collaborating weaving culture with natural landscape to give an impetus towards development of textile tourism.

Muga silk is the pride of Assam. Our basic focus is to boost up Muga culture and hence to produce hand-woven Muga silk in abundance. In addition to magnificent Muga, Marvella is taking along lustrous Pat silk (mulberry), gorgeous Tussar silk, warm Eri silk and also ever green Cotton fabrics in its journey.

Wearing silk is a statement of joy. Hand-woven silk crafted by epic designs is also the crown for weavers. Besides producing in own factory, we also work closely with weaver groups in their looms to develop design ideas, yarn & weave concept and colour stories, thus encouraging and helping weavers in their growth.
