We went to Sualkuchi without any idea where the sericulture farms are. After going there we google and found Marvella farm but it was closed on that day. We called the owner and told her that we came from hyderabad. She was very nice and immediately made arrangement for us to see the place. She was also curtious and made sure we get the full experience. All the while never once she asked us to pay the visiting charges. Even when we asked several times she insisted we first visit the place and enjoy. Only after we had completed the visit she shared UPI detail.
The staff at Marvella Paam are also nice and showed us how the silk cacoons as processed how the silk extracted and how the weaving is done. She answer all our questions in details.
Over all a very pleasant experience and highly recommended
